Their primary language, Nung, belongs to the Thai branch of the Tai-Kadai language family. The Nung predominantly reside in the northeastern provinces of Vietnam&#8217;s Bac Bo region, including Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, and Tuyen Quang.
