Size: 1,170mm high; sleeve 2,240mm – Color: bronze color (mixed between orange and red) – This color is specified in the “Kham Dinh Dai Nam Hoi Dien Su Le” – Institute of History – volume 6, book 187, page 250 – Minh Mang 3rd year (1822) for the first rank (no exception) – Material: high-quality silk – sophisticated woven patterns – Decorative design: Four-clawed dragon (also known as Mang): a symbol of power, ruling class – Unicorn: a mythical and religious mascot; symbolizing the noble class, wealth, good omen. – Turtle: a mascot, symbolizing longevity – Phoenix: a sacred mascot, representing the royal female, belonging to the negative pole; will bring harmonious growth with the positive pole (male); symbolizes complete and perfect growth. Therefore, this type of dress is also known as Dai Trieu Phuc Tu Linh bao or Mang bao – Court regulations: this Dai Trieu Phuc is only used for court (meeting the king) on important occasions such as: Tet; birthday of the king, queen mother; Nam Giao altar ceremony; Tich Dien ceremony; receiving diplomatic delegation; first and fifteenth day of the lunar month (this type of Dai Trieu Phuc is only issued to military officials of the third rank and above and civil officials of the sixth rank and above).
