Year of the Pig – Minh Mang 8th (1827)
King Minh Mang opened the royal statue workshop to produce enamel (By the time of Tu Duc Dynasty, it was gradually passed down) the technique learned from China. However, Vietnamese Hue enamel has its own unique style, nuances, and color-coordinated painting style, as well as decorative designs with bright colors, strong intensity, and contrasting complementary tones, full of expression. Although the colors are strong, the products are not confusing or flashy, but exude luxury and nobility.
