H’RE
The H’Re are one of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups, speaking the H’re language, which belongs to the Austroasiatic language family’s Mon-Khmer group. It is part of the Northern Bahnaric branch, closely related to Xo Dang, Ka Dong, and Gie. They primarily reside in Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh provinces, with a population of 149,460 (2019).
