About the Museum of Jewelry of 54 Vietnamese Ethnic Groups

Discover a unique cultural journey through more than 10,000 precious jewelry artifacts of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups at Do Hung Museum. This place preserves and displays more than 10,000 precious artifacts, which are proof of the creativity and cultural quintessence of ethnic groups across the country.

Entering the museum, visitors will admire splendid jewelry sets, crafted from many different materials such as gold, silver, copper, gemstones, beads, etc. Each set of jewelry carries the distinct cultural identity of each ethnic group, expressed through motifs, patterns, ways of wearing and using. Visitors will learn about the meaning of each type of jewelry in the spiritual and material life of ethnic people. For example, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, etc. are not just simple jewelry but also show the social status, religious beliefs and aesthetic concepts of the wearer.
