SAN DIU:
The San Diu are an ethnic minority among Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups, living in the midland areas of some northern Vietnamese provinces, such as Vinh Phuc, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, and Quang Ninh. They speak the San Diu language, which belongs to the Sino-Tibetan language group.
Their population was 183,004 in 2019.
