NGAI
The Ngai are an ethnic group living in Vietnam, recognized as one of the country’s 54 ethnic groups. They are indigenous inhabitants scattered in coastal areas and islands of northern Vietnam. The Ngai language, a dialect of Hakka (He), belongs to the Sino-Tibetan language family’s Han group. Their population was 1,649 in 2019.
